Craftily Crushed

We’ve crushed Virginia apples to make award-winning ciders that aren’t too fussy and pair well with everyday life. Our ciders are sold in beach communities throughout Virginia and North Carolina, ranging from semi-sweet to off-dry. Our Phoebus taproom hosts events, music, food trucks, and limited ciders you can’t get anywhere else. The Sly Clyde Poolside location is in Williamsburg, where we have 2 bars, a full-menu cafe, and music at the Kingsgate Resort.

We’ve even started hosting community tasting sessions, helping to choose our next great ciders, like Pucker Up.

Our Grandfather, Clyde

H. Clyde Smith was a mortician whose calm demeanor and wicked sense of humor kept us laughing as kids. He loved a good story and always had a sly smile that made you realize that he had a few secrets about life that he was waiting for you to learn.

He never lost his smile and always believed in the human capacity to thrive. Our Phoebus Taproom is in Clyde’s house, and you can raise a glass to his slyness the next time you’re in.
